A week on a boat.

In this summer I did one of the most interesting experience in my life so far – I sailed along the coast of Greece for one week. This trip carried along some beautiful but also stressful parts. While being on a boat with 7 other people you learn ways to avoid certain situations. You master the way of keeping harmony between friends, family and people with different interests in general.

But in comparison to that you’re blessed with those amazing landscapes and deep blue water at your footstep. Being waked by the sun rays shining in your miniature cabin. Taking a refreshing swim right after climbing out of the bed. Even drying your wet hair in the heavy wind while sailing. All those memories trap me in day-dreams during my classes in school.

On boat stayed my mum and dad alongside my neighbor with her daughter, who is a dear friend of mine. Also two Friends of my father accompanied us. In addition we had an skipper, who helped us coping with the sailing ship.  Our tour started in the harbor of Athens. In the first night we already stayed on the open water in a small bay. It was a shaky night, due to the wind, that pressed against the boat. But this was all worth for experiencing one of the best morning I ever had (but I have to admit I’m a bit of a morning person). I woke up on the front of the sailing boat and couldn’t even spot clouds above me. Only blue sky complementing the ocean.

The trip continued with visiting small villages on various islands. Very photogenic alleyways and houses filled my camera memory card. Especially the village Hydra caught my eye. Interesting people and sweet boutiques made this village very memorable.

After seven days had passed we all left our boat with very mixed feelings. The conditions, like sharing a bathroom with seven others or not being able to charge your mobile phone merged with the beautiful sights you had each day. But it was surely interesting to continue with your average life afterwards.

To summ this all up I can tell that it’s one hell of an experience, which will leave you having wanderlust.

Hello World!

Hey,

as a first blog-post it raises the big question what to write about. There’re thousand of options like beauty, travel, fashion, news and so on  – all those subjects highly fascinate me, which makes my decision even more difficult. But why keep bothering on that? I’m planning to make this blog as a mix out of various topics. The major key (what I’ve been told from my brother) is just to start writing and to develop over time. As for my English I will try my best to keep the grammar as correct as possible but who makes no mistakes, makes nothing.
